Vickie Jourdan

Raised in a suburb of New York City, Vickie was influenced at an early age by her father, an executive art director of an advertising firm on Madison Avenue.  Her appreciation for the arts continued through her young adult life and, after studying at the Parsons School of Design, Vickie began her career in the interior design department of B. Altman and Company in Manhattan.  She relocated to San Francisco for a time where she was a sales consultant for an office furniture company until she married and started a family.  Upon returning to the East Coast and settling in Richmond, Virginia, Vickie joined O.H. Jones Interiors where she enjoyed a very successful twelve more successful years in interior design. 

With her eye for design helping her craft her vibrant works of art, Vickie has now enjoyed painting for more than 20 years.  Her love of color, textures and experimenting make her acrylic paintings alive.

Vickie has been accepted into many juried shows and won numerous awards, including Best of Show.  Her work is hanging in private collections throughout the United States as well as Scotland, England, France and Mexico.
