Artist Karen Keil Brown has been a professional artist for over 25 years and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Brown has also taught art all of her life and continues to offer private lessons. She has deep experience in commercial art and has participated in numerous art shows, and her paintings can be found in private and corporate collections throughout the country.
Browns current body of work at Shuptrine’s Gallery continues to rotate and be shown well in our mountain regions, and on the North and South Carolina coasts. Brown conveys her passion for painting as she reflects onto canvas the beauty and weight of color. Several of her major pieces showcase the ever changing landscapes of the Smokey and Blue Ridge mountains. Her ethereal painting style gives the viewer a peaceful experience in an atmospheric perspective.
